How did you come up with this brilliant idea?!
What’s the connection between workplace innovation and… beer?
Well, you might be surprised to hear that it’s an obvious one. And it all came to us one cold November morning.
We, the Marketing team, could barely keep our eyes open – scraping the barrel for new campaign ideas.
But in the Product and Engineering team, a completely different story was playing out. They were energized, making amazing progress building a game-changing product that we’re releasing very soon.
“How on earth do you do it?” we asked them. “It’s simple,” they replied, “the pub.”
They told us that if it wasn’t for these sessions where they could let off some steam, they wouldn’t be half as creative when they headed back to work the next day.
And then it hit us. If drinking IPA was enabling collaboration, innovation and productivity in our workplace, then maybe, just maybe, it was about time we helped out our customers in the same way (and cashed in on it at the same time).
So here you have it, the Metrikus IPA
